Education is shifting from teaching code to cultivating cognition. As AI becomes a collaborator in thought, students and faculty must learn to question the machine as deeply as they rely on it. Wired recently observed that high school STEM courses now emphasize data interpretation, ethics, and probabilistic reasoning instead of rote programming. The same transformation is moving through universities, where inquiry and data literacy form the new academic core. The classroom of tomorrow will belong to those who translate between human judgment and algorithmic logic, ensuring that technology continues to serve understanding rather than replace it.
